In traditional Taekwondo practice, it is customary to train barefoot. We recommend this approach as it offers better traction and aids in developing balance by allowing your feet to connect with the ground. Your feet are rich in nerve endings, extending from the spine through the sciatic nerve, providing sensory feedback crucial for balance. While specialized footwear is not necessary, those who prefer may explore Taekwondo shoes or socks, available upon inquiry at the front desk.

Please stitch the patches onto your uniform as they are not adhesive and NOT iron on. Avoid using glue as it will not securely attach to the fabric and may leave undesirable residue.

Clean your uniform jacket and pants by washing them with other white clothes in the laundry. (Avoid washing your belt!) Use cold water to prevent any potential shrinking. Refrain from using bleach to avoid discoloring the school patch. Promptly remove the uniform from the dryer to minimize the need for ironing. Never leave it in your gym bag or locker while damp or sweaty, as this may lead to mold spots. Ensure it dries thoroughly after each workout, and maintain frequent washing. If you frequently sweat or attend classes, consider having a second (or even third) uniform to rotate through.

Our standard uniforms are of moderate weight, suitable for both winter and summer seasons, and typically have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. It is advisable to have 2-3 uniforms to rotate throughout the week. This ensures that you can wear a fresh uniform for each practice session while only needing to do laundry once per week.
